All Saints Catholic School is looking for an experienced and qualified part-time first grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to Catholic education.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Embodies and promotes the mission and vision of All Saints Catholic School
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Teaches language arts, math, science, social studies, and religion for a self-contained class
• Develops and implements a rigorous, standards-based curriculum.
• Consistently creates a high level of active student engagement and student-led learning.
• Applies differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement for all learners in a learner-centered and collaborative environment.
• Develops and uses effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress.
• Uses technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process including iPads, Chromebooks, smart boards and online instructional platforms.
• Establishes a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes self-direction and confidence; sets high standards for student behavior and manages inappropriate behavior effectively.
• Communicates regularly with families and implements clear communication systems.
• Cooperates with school administration; works effectively with all staff members to promote positive relationships with students and parents.
• Completes additional administrative, operational, and professional responsibilities and duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Protecting God's Children Certificate
