SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHING ASSISTANT- HIGH SCHOOL (Grades 9-12)
FULL TIME- 32.5 HOURS/WEEK
START DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: $15.49/Hour plus payment for additional credit hours, if applicable
LOCATION:HIGH SCHOOL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: A Teaching Assistant must be able to consistently and successfully perform the essential functions of the position as outlined below:
1. Assist in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandates
2. Implement established behavior plan(s)
3. Ability to assume teacher responsibilities
4. Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systems
5. Assist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need
6. Assist with routine classroom functions
7. Assist with home-school communication
8. Assist with all required paperwork to be completed

- Experience working with students preferred
