Essex Westford School District is seeking a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) at Albert D Lawton Intermediate School and Essex Middle School. The BCBA trains and supervises the interventionists supporting students with behaviors that interfere with learning. As well as the development of discrete trial programs, providing the necessary training associated with implementing these programs and gathering data to assess progress.

Candidates with experience working in another country and the ability to speak more than one language fluently, and/or peace Corps. experience are encouraged to apply to help contribute to a diversity of thinking and grow our organizational practices.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification (BCBA®)
  • Hold, or be eligible to hold, a VT Educator license with a Special Educator or School Psychologist is preferred but not required.
  • Adept in the development of behavioral modification planning and crisis intervention
  • Demonstrates competence in developing data collection systems that can be implemented in the classroom setting.
  • Possesses the ability to conduct functional behavioral assessments and design, implement and monitor behavior intervention plans.
