Job Title: Elementary STEAM Launch Camp Site Coordinator

Location: STEAM Launch Camp

Reports to: STEAM Launch Camp Program Coordinator, School Principals and Coordinator of Extended Learning

Responsibilities and Duties:
    Oversee all daily program aspects of Elementary Summer STEAM Launch Camp;

    Secure and oversee summer program staff;

    Handle program communications including but not limited to distributing flyers, registration & enrollment, weekly program updates, event promotion, updating program website and padlet, managing Class Dojo or Remind App and other family communications.

    Recruit and monitor enrollment students

    Arrange transportation for summer program and field trips.

    Schedule and Coordinate all summer program activities including meals.

    Plan and co-facilitate staff meetings.

    Collaborate with staff and families of students.

    Manage behavior issues/concerns in accordance with established behavior policies.

    Manage the financial aspects of the summer program in collaboration with the Camp Director and Grants Department - including payroll, supplies and field trips.

    Other duties as assigned by the Elementary STEAM LAUNCH program coordinator, school principles, Coordinator of Extended Learning and/or Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning.
Compensation:
$25 - $31 Per Hour based on experience and certifications

Anticipated Schedule:
    Camp staging and planning: May and June 2023: 10 hours per week

    Camp Orientation : July 5 and 6, 2023: 16 hours

    Camp: July 10 to August 4, 2023 Anticipated Schedule: M-F 8AM t o4PM; (40 hours per week for 4 weeks).

    Post-camp: August 8 and 9, 2023, 16 hours
Qualifications:
    Program Leadership Experience Required.

    CT Teaching Certification preferred.

    Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams and groups (teachers, parents, administrators and support staff);

    Technology skills and trouble shooting abilities.

    First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred.
