Color Guard Director

Keith Valley Middle School is accepting applications the role of Color Guard Director. The Director will work closely with the Assistant Coach(es) to coordinate the program. The candidate should have a desire to work with student-athletes, be enthusiastic, patient, organized, mature, dependable, and responsible. The candidate must be available for the times of games, practices, and meetings. The candidate should have knowledge of the PIAA rules and fundamentals of the sport and be willing to work with secondary students. Playing or coaching experience is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all color guard activities for the Fall & Winter Seasons
  • Work closely with the Marching Band Director for Fall rehearsals & performances
  • Develop winter performance routines
  • Work with the High School Color guard director for development & transition of students
  • Participate in winter competitions
