PROJECT: MPS STEAM Summer Camp
GRANT FUNDED SEASONAL POSITION
MPS STEAM Paraprofessional (2 Vacancies)
Broad Function: Reporting to the MPS Summer STEAM Coordinators, the MPS Summer STEAM Paraprofessional will support instruction, personalized learning and project-based learning for 1:1 camper.

PROJECT: MPS STEAM Summer Camp
GRANT FUNDED SEASONAL POSITION
MPS STEAM Paraprofessional (2 Vacancies)
Broad Function: Reporting to the MPS Summer STEAM Coordinators, the MPS Summer STEAM Paraprofessional will support instruction, personalized learning and project-based learning for 1:1 camper.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to camper 1:1 during STEM programming;
Supervise camper during meals and weekly visits with guest vendors and community providers;
Assist Site Coordinator in morning drop off and afternoon transition with 1:1 camper;
Promote positive behavior during all activities and transitions;
Manage behavior issues/concerns in accordance with established policies with camper;
Other duties as assigned by the STEAM Site Coordinator or Program Director.
- Ability to motivate and engage camper in learning activities;
Demonstrated classroom management and teambuilding skills;
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills;
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams and groups (teachers, parents, administrators and support staff);
First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred.
- Summer STEAM Camp : July 10-August 4, 2023, 8:30 am-3:30 pm.
