Job Title: Pre-K Summer School Teacher
Location: Snow Elementary School
Anticipated Start Date: 7/5/2023 (4 Week Summer Kindergarten Readiness program)
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 25 hours per week
Compensation: $31.00 Per Hour
Qualifications:
Certified Teacher PreK-3 or 1-6 (k-6)
Early Childhood (PreK-2) professional experience preferred
Understanding of the CT ELDs
Knowledge and experience with the Footsteps2Brilliance Pre-K platform and its unique offerings
Ability to design and implement innovative and engaging hands-on lessons
Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with preschool children and families;
Knowledge of the Purposeful Play/Executive Function strategies preferred
Demonstrate an understanding of community resources and kindergarten expectations to support early childhood needs.
