Competitive International Package

Do you have a passion for reading and literacy?

Are you able to inspire both staff and students and make a real difference?

Are you ready to take on an exciting new opportunity as a Senior Leader?

Then Nehru World School wants you to hear from you!

As part of our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Executive Head you will work closely with our Heads of School to establish a cross-schools reading and literacy programme. Your responsibilities will include developing an aspirational literacy curriculum, delivering high-quality bespoke training to staff across subjects and age ranges, and leading the day-to-day operations of the programme. You will also contribute significantly to the strategy and impact of the programme within the wider organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Senior Leader looking to develop their experience within a multi school organisation, or for a younger leader ready for their next step up!

We are looking for a genuinely dynamic practitioner who will be able to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, drawing on the best of international curriculums and practice in developing reading and literacy.

Resilience, empathy, adaptability and cultural competence will be key, along with a sense of humour and purpose to provide the very best for children and colleagues. Could you be that person to establish a community of learners with a real love of reading?

Please apply with a letter showing how you meet the Person Specification, your CV and 3 checkable references, one of which must be your most recent employer along with your preferred start date, ideally September 2023. We are willing to wait for the right candidate.

The closing date for applications is 26th May 2023.  We reserve the right to appoint early in the case of an exceptional candidate applying.

The contract will be full-time for 3 years in the first instance. Our competitive package includes accommodation within 20 minutes of school, a car and driver, annual return tickets, a relocation allowance, pension contribution and 45 days holiday allowance plus agreed Government holidays.

Speculative CVs from spouses in suitably qualified fields are welcomed.
