Speech-Language Pathologist
Qualifications:
Reports To: Building Principal(s) and Director of Special Services
Supervises: SLP Aide(s) or SLP Assistant(s) (if assigned)
Job Goal: To provide quality speech-language services for the district.
Performance Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment: Designated by contract
Evaluation: The building principal(s) shall evaluate this position in consultation with the Director of Special Services.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- License from the WY State Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CF-SLP)

Job Goal: To provide quality speech-language services for the district.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose specific speech or language deficits of referred students in the district.
- Prepare and submit accurate and appropriate evaluations, screenings, and reports in a professional and timely manner.
- Design appropriate goals, objectives, and timelines for educationally-relevant speech-language services related to documented areas of need for eligible students.
- Provide quality educationally-relevant speech and language services based on goals related to documented areas of need for eligible students.
- Monitor and document progress on IEP goals and communicate progress with the school-based team (student, parents/guardians, teachers, and other team members).
- Collaborate with teachers and service providers in the development of a variety of strategies to meet the educational needs of students with special education services.
- Complete screenings and communicate the results in a timely manner.
- Follow time schedules, attend and participate in all assigned meetings, and maintain a positive, professional manner with students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality standards as defined by the local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
