SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER

Full-time position requires 40 hours per week.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 Depending On Experience

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing a variety of services relating to the various needs of students at-risk and students with a disability

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Evaluate students in areas appropriate to licensure and training: cognitive, behavioral, social, emotional, and academic
2. Provide social, emotional, behavioral intervention services
3. Communicate and collaborate with parents, students, staff, and others relative to student behavioral and achievement goals, interventions, and progress monitoring
4. Support individual and school wide safety, including crisis response, prevention, and intervention
5. Stay current on knowledge of various legal requirements related to students with disabilities
6. Participate in various professional growth activities and opportunities
7. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION
As required by the State of Colorado

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, squatting
Occasional stooping, kneeling, crawling
Occasional lifting 5 to 10 pounds
