The High School Principal will serve as the school and educational leader responsible for the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of a comprehensive program of educational and student services. Serves as an advocate for the students, staff, school, and school community.
Responsibilities and Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Create a school culture that promotes the ongoing improvement of learning and teaching for students and staff.
- It is essential for the Employee to arrive on time to work every scheduled work day. It is essential for the Employee to maintain good attendance and give ample notice, when possible, when Employee will be absent. It is essential for Employee to speak to co-workers with respect and to follow all of the requirements and expectations in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications
The High School Principal should have a master’s degree or higher. Minimum of five years of teaching experience. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience. Experience supervising in a High School is preferred. Leadership degree and/or certification preferred. Knowledge and demonstrative skills in the use of technology. Good organizational and communication skills. Salary based on experience.
