Full Job Description: Transportation RQ Specialist

Position Summary: Under direct supervision, estimates cost, qualifies, and schedules district related field trip activity requests. Receives incoming RQ's (Field Trip Request) service calls daily. Communicates with school coaches, principals, and administrators to provide the best possible activity transportation. Maintain relationships with third party vendors for transportation related services. Creates and submits invoicing for transportation related services and maintains account receivable reports for all outstanding invoices and performs year-end closings for all accounts.

• Minimum Qualifications:

HS Graduate or GED.

Must possess or willing to obtain a commercial driver's license, (CDL) class B with passenger and air brake endorsements.

• School Bus Driver Certificate.

• Current drivers considered must not have had a preventable school bus accident, no disciplinary action within the last 12 months, positive attendance record (no unscheduled/unapproved absences within the last 12 months), exceptions may only be granted by the Director of Transportation or his/her designee.
