REQUIREMENTS

  • knowledgeable and attentive to scholar, family, and school community needs.
  • demonstrated leadership experience.

DUTIES
  • Works as a part of a team at Middletown High School in support of academic and social-emotional success for our young people.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the Executive Principal and Associate Principal, the Cohort Principal will oversee daily school activities and scholar service programs.
  • Manage scholar supervision issues and enforce school behavioral expectations within the assigned cohort.
  • Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of cohort-specific programming including but not limited to academics and social-emotional well being.
  • Supervises scholar support staff and acts on attendance, and truancy issues in collaboration with the Student support Facilitators within the Cohort ecosystem.
  • Act as DASA Coordinator for specific Cohort.
  • All other duties related to the position as assigned by the Executive Principal and/or Associate Principal.
