Milpitas is a growing TK-12 district with high academic standards and an innovative learning environment.  The student population of 10,000 is rich in ethnic and cultural diversity.  The district has ten elementary schools, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school, and one alternative high school.  In addition to the TK-12 program, the district also provides the community with day care, preschool, and adult education programs.
