Job Details
The Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is responsible for growing next generation disciples to be active and future participants of St. Joseph's Parish and the Universal Church, this will be done by providing faith formation and service opportunities for middle, high school, and young adults.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and managing sustainable programs for teenagers and young adults in the St. Joseph Parish and Cockeysville Community.
- Encouraging, leading and mentoring a team of adult volunteers who will lead and facilitate specific ministries and programming within the youth ministry.
- Develop ministry and service opportunities that will help teenagers in the growth of their Catholic faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Encourage, lead and mentor a team of teenage student leaders who will help with the development of student programming.
- Partner with St. Joseph Parish School in the faith formation of middle school students.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Theology/Religious Studies, Master's Degree preferred
- Practicing Catholic preferred
- Experience in working/volunteering in the parish/diocesan level
- Ability to manage and coordinate teams of adult and teenage volunteers.
- Interpersonal Communication
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not a must)
