Position: Teacher of Health and Physical Education - Grades 9-12 - Two (2)

Position Summary: Ridgewood Public Schools seeks an experienced Health and Physical Education teacher to serve our high school and work with our students in Grades 9-12. Selected individual will be expected to use a high level of skill in teaching the New Jersey Student Learning Standards - Comprehensive Health and Physical Education including driver's education and first aid.

Qualifications:

• New Jersey Teacher of Physical Education and Health Certification
• Must demonstrate knowledge of NJSLS Comprehensive Health and Physical Education
• Must demonstrate ability to differentiation of instruction
• Must have ability to use technology to enhance learning and assess students
• Must be able to effectively communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work collaboratively and have experience maintaining harmonious relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Start Date: August 31, 2023

Working Conditions: Full time, tenure track position, salary as per negotiated contract, and health benefits
