Clerical/Secretary (2 openings) - Summer Bridge Academy Program

Program Description: The Summer Bridge Academy Program will offer students entering Grades 1 through 7 with academic support and enrichment activities.

Staff Needed: PTClerical/Secretary (2 openings)

Qualifications:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Suite.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Prior experience preferred.

  • Must be available to work all days of the program.

  • Must attend the required Professional Development Day/Staff Orientation on Thursday, June 22nd and Friday, June 23rd.

  • Must be available prior to the start of the program to assist with program development and assisting the Principal and staff.

    Start date April 17th. Hours flexible and as needed prior to the Professional Development Days.


Salary Rate: $32.27 per hour (up to 150 hours)

Program Dates: July 5, 2023 through July 28, 2023 (Monday-Friday). Position may begin sooner to assist the Principal and staff with program preparation

Daily Hours: 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Required Professional Development Day/Staff Orientation: Thursday, June 22, 2023 8:30 a.m-3:00 p.m. and Friday, June 23, 2023 from 8:30 a.m-3:00 p.m.

Program Location: School 2 (Students entering grades 1-4) and Lewis F. Cole Intermediate School (Students entering grades 5-7)

Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
