Paraprofessional for 2023 Summer School

Applicants external to the Caesar Rodney School District will be hired as temporary, casual/seasonal employees.
Preference will be given to current Caesar Rodney School District employees.

Summer School 2023 will be held July 11, 2023 - August 8, 2023, Monday - Thursday, 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM with no school on Fridays.
*There will be two Teacher In-service Days on Monday, July 10, 2023 (7:45 am-3:00 pm) and Wednesday, August 9, 2023 (9:00 am-2:00 pm)

REQUIREMENTS : Individuals must possess a paraprofessional permit.

SALARY : Individuals will be paid an hourly per diam rate and will be paid only for hours worked. Temporary, casual/seasonal employees are not eligible for leave or other benefits.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
