Electrical Instructor

Stafford Technical Center offers fourteen full-day technical education programs, each of which offers college credits or industry certifications to students as part of their high school education. Students are prepared for higher education and/or entry into business and industry. Stafford Technical Center has an Electrical faculty opening beginning with the 2023-2024 school year due to a program expansion.

The Electrical & Plumbing program is designed to prepare students to enter the career area as an apprentice or continue studies at the college level. Classroom study and practical application at the school's residential building project as well as other projects are combined with community service activities to offer students a well-rounded experience. The Electrical Instructor will work with our Plumbing Instructor to introduce students to both fields and then students will choose to specialize in one of these fields and begin earning apprentice hours.

Industry experience in the electrical field and Vermont licensure (or ability to be licensed) as an Electrician is required. Obtaining Licensure as a Career & Technical Education instructor with the Vermont Agency of Education, if not already licensed, will be part of the first 4 years of employment.
