High School Spanish Teacher
Austin Catholic High School is seeking candidates for the position of Spanish teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Applicants should be qualified and capable of teaching a Spanish curriculum. A willingness to be an active member of our dynamic high school environment and contribute as a team player outside of the school day is a must.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Hold proper teaching certification: FF Certification
• Ability to maintain a safe and disciplined learning environment.
• Capacity to create lesson plans that support mastery of essential outcomes consistent with school goals; promote problem solving and creativity, challenge students and demonstrate higher order thinking.
• Capability to adapt delivery and materials to meet the needs of students with varying academic skill levels.
• Have an interest in supporting a school culture that focuses on each student's academic, spiritual, social and emotional growth in alignment with the school's mission.
• Ability to effectively use technology tools.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate [verbal and written] with various stakeholders.
• Visibly demonstrate a willingness to expand knowledge and skills by participating in professional development opportunities in all areas.
