Full-time Social Studies teaching position for the 2023-24 School Year at Caesar Rodney High School. Caesar Rodney High School is a 9-12 High School with approximately 2,200 students.
QUALIFICATIONS : Individuals who will be eligible or possess Teacher of Social Studies certification are encouraged to apply. Coaching availability preferred. Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Teacher of Social Studies. The State of Delaware will recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.

Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than one year of teaching experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License (with proof of current and valid out of state license).

SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
