Starting at $20.06/hour. Additional Compensation for higher education/relevant experience in the field

Our classroom structure is designed to match students' needs. Through an interdisciplinary approach, an individual plan is designed for each student. Our school is prepared to meet the academic requirements of local educational agencies, as well other states where our clients are from. Our curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and coordinated through a collaborative working relationship with referring school districts. Flexibility in academic programming and creativity to meet students' needs is the strength of our organization.

In this position you will supervise and complete job performance evaluations for direct care staff in addition to ensuring all documentation is completed per internal and external timelines. You will be a support to the direct care staff to ensure consistency to behavioral support and training standards to minimize safety risks to staff and students.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts is located in Rutland, MA and serves students with complex mental health and behavioral challenges. Located in Rutland, MA, this position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • High School diploma or GED required, Bachelors preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with youth required
  • 2 years in a supervisory role required
  • 2 weeks of paid orientation daytime training from 8am - 4pm, in person
  • Completion of the Diana Screening

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate's understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
