School Psychologist - Bilingual (English/Spanish) - Elementary

Description
The School District of Waukesha is seeking qualified, Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) candidates to apply for an opening as a School Psychologist, at the elementary level. Experience across all age levels is preferred (PreK-12th). Scope of practice for school psychology required:  Data based decision making and accountability  Consultation and Collaboration  Interventions and instructional support for academic success, including progress monitoring  School-wide practices to promote learning  Case manage initial IEP evaluations  Interventions and mental health services for social and life skills  Preventive and responsive services, including individual student support  Family-school collaboration services  Diversity in development and learning  Research and program evaluation  Legal, ethical and professional practice QUALIFICATIONS: -Knowledge of assessment and student progress monitoring birth through 21 years -Knowledge of special education rules and regulations -Ability to collaborate and develop positive relationships with staff, students, families, and the community in order to enhance student learning -Exceptional written and oral communication skills -Experience with RTI and AIMSWEB including data analysis and programming, behavioral interventions -Crisis intervention, FBA-BIP for non-Spec. Ed.
