(Part-time position - Not to exceed 40 hours) The successful candidate will design and prepare one (1) curriculum map that will be used as a summer school teacher guide and/or framework for instructing English 11 students. The curriculum map must include daily student assignments and a midterm examination/project that will successfully prepare students for the New York State English 11 Regents Examination. The curriculum map must be broken down into 2 hour blocks of time with a total of 25 class days. English 9, 10, 11, or 12 teaching experience, summer school teaching experience, English 11 Regents exam administration and scoring experience, and curriculum guide/mapping experience are desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change. Anticipated Salary: $20.00/hour.
