The Testing Proctor will provide assistance with the administration and proctoring of mandatory state assessments, including paper-based assessments and computer-based assessments to all students at onsite locations throughout the state of Georgia. Georgia locations needed: Dalton, Gainesville, Cartersville, Dawsonville, Cornelia, Athens, Carrollton, Kennesaw, Fairburn, Decatur, Lawrenceville, Monroe, Macon, Statesboro, Jackson, Augusta, LaGrange, Columbus, Dublin, Cordele, Reidsville, Albany, Moultrie, Savannah, Brunswick, Valdosta, Ft. Gains, Douglas, Waycross, Bainbridge, Hinesville.

The position reports to the Operations Manager.

This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Work with Test Site Administrator in creating and maintaining policies, practices and procedures for Test Site and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Perform daily Testing Site opening and closing procedures. Perform basic technical support to fix issues related to the technology within the Testing Site.
  • Understand testing requirements for exam sponsor and perform quality and security checks of all exams prior to examination time. Ensure any special instructions/materials, etc. for exams are followed/available.
  • Assist Testing Site Administrator with creating, printing and posting seating assignments for exams.
  • Check-in examinees and verify identification. Explain exam process, ask examinees to place all personal belongings in the area created to hold such belongings. Direct examinees to assigned seat, help examinees begin the exam, monitor examinees, and provide technical assistance during examination time.
  • Assist Testing Site Administrator with compiling all assessments and scratch work sheets after each exam and prepare assessments to be delivered to school.
  • Maintain clean and safe Testing Site environment. This includes daily reorganization of the room and coordinating proper cleaning requirements with the cleaning service.
  • Maintain Testing Site supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel to testing site as needed
  • Ability to pass required background check

Residency Requirement: Must be a Georgia resident

  • This position is for multiple locations
  • Must reside in Georgia. Hours will be T-F 6:30am-4pm during April.
  • This position requires employee to be present for virtual trainings administered by the school. (typically, will take place 1-2 weeks prior to testing date)
  • Employee would be required to be present for all testing administrations as scheduled. This may require some travel and employee would be expected to remain on site until the testing administrator leaves the premises
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; talk and hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job are correctable to 20/20 vision.
