This is a full-time Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor for Postlethwait Middle School for the 2022-23 School Year. Candidates with experience and licensed as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) are encouraged to apply. https://www.crk12.org/Domain/18

QUALIFICATIONS : Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work from a Regionally-Accredited College or University or be a licensed LPMHC. A minimum of two years of social work experience is required for this position as well as one year of supervised experience in a school setting OR an internship of 1,000 hours approved by the Department of Education and supervised by an appropriate school designee. Note: If you meet the above qualifications, but do not currently hold a School Social Worker certificate, enter that your license is "pending" and you have a "Standard" in School Social Work on your online application. Applicants MUST attach a copy of their current license (LCSW or LPMHC) to the online application.

SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules , based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
