DCSD is fully accredited and was recognized as one of seven districts in Georgia by the College Board with placement on the 3rd Annual AP District Honor Roll for simultaneously increasing access to AP course work while increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on the AP exams. DCSD was also awarded the Highest Progress School designation by the Georgia DOE for Title I schools with the highest performance on statewide tests over three years.
