Certified Registerd Behavior Technician ~ District Wide

This is a full-time Paraprofessional position for student support at Caesar Rodney School District. Individuals who possess or are willing to work towards Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification are encouraged to apply

REQUIREMENTS : Passing PARAPRO scores (459) and high school diploma or its recognized equivalent, OR sixty (60) "C" or better semester hours from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, OR an Associate's degree. Passing scores must be on file at the Department of Education before you can apply OR you must meet the other requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT will:
  • assist with delivering behavior analysis services
  • provide ABA interventions
  • aid in the implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • collect behavioral data
  • observe students across different settings
  • support the development of student social skills
  • collaborate with classroom and IEP team
  • model appropriate behavior intervention strategies
SALARY : In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
