Glenwood Springs High School seeks one Special Education Teachers (Moderate Needs) for the 2023-24 school year and beyond. Experience with Language Development (Dual Language schools) is a plus.

Pay Range
$50,000 to $71,895 Based on education and years of experience
**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day (FTE 1) and full days worked calendar. Any position that is less than a full FTE/8 hours per day or late start will be prorated accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

* Colorado Teaching License - Special Education Generalist

Desired Qualifications:

* Elementary teaching experience

* Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction

* Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction

Desired Core Competencies:

* Openness to coaching, feedback, and reflection in order to continuously improve practices.

* Values driven instructional leadership and professionalism

* Personal ownership and passion for improving outcomes for all learners
