Responsibilities of the French Teacher:
- Develop and implement a full French curriculum that meets the school's mission and goals.
- Develop knowledge and skills essential to effectively teach students in the grade assigned.
- Promote students' critical and creative thinking and analysis and develop instructional materials.
- Facilitate learning for all students using a variety of instructional methods, resources, and technological tools.
Requirements of the French Teacher:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in French is REQUIRED (even if you are a native speaker) {minors or concentrations may be acceptable}
- Minimum of 2 years of French teaching experience at the K-12 level
- Interest to contribute to school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise
- Geographic flexibility is preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographical location, experience, and level of degree. Benefit packages will include the following: Medical and 401K (TIAA-CREF) and may include dental, housing, relocation, tuition remission, and professional development.
