Prescott Valley Charter School is an accredited K-9 charter school that will expand to serve grades K-12 in the coming years.

We are in the growing mountain community of Prescott Valley, Arizona, about one hour north of Phoenix.

Our classical instructional model is based on a historical educational goal: To teach children to think and learn for themselves by providing the tools necessary for success, while fostering deep levels of inquiry that ultimately lead every child to discover his/her own truth.

PVCS teachers are hired based upon mastery of the academic discipline taught and ability to convey that knowledge to young people.

The ELL Teacher supports students in acquiring English through the language development approach. ELL Teachers create lesson plans that target specific ELP standards based on the student’s proficiency level and grade level and monitor their progress to promote their language acquisition.

Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree and a valid Arizona teaching certification, with an SEI or ELL Endorsement. The ideal candidate has previous experience with ELL, ESL, Azella, and SEI as well as experience working with English Language Learners.
