  License and Certification Qualifications: Current professional HR certification issued by HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP), or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field required

Experience Qualifications: Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition with a focus on diversity recruitment.

Skills Qualifications: Excellent listening and consulting skills; well organized and detail oriented required; strong networking abilities and event planning skills; proven planning and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships at all levels of an organization; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism; experience in building diversity recruitment strategy and partnering with HR Staffing and hiring teams to execute on that strategy; working knowledge of leading recruiting best practices and trends; proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar products and in navigating social media websites to work independently within a fast-paced, team-focused environment; proven ability to meet multiple deadlines, prioritize multiple demands, and identify/solve problems creatively; ability to work independently within a fast-paced; travel may be required along with work hours that depend on the needs of the department, bilingual preferred.

Primary Responsibilities: The Recruiter will activate recruiting strategies by driving the success of on-campus, virtual and recruitment event activities, optimize various diversity and early career partnerships, and funnel talent into our various pipeline programs. This position will work closely with university deans and placement officials, university programs, business leaders, and stakeholders to execute on an integrated recruiting strategy via recruiting efforts that increase the pipeline, recruiting experience, and hiring of diverse candidates. Additionally, assist in educating Human Resources on diversity trends, best practices, tools, and issues to influence the organization in driving best practices throughout the organization. This position will focus on critical, diverse, early career talent pipeline programs and requires excellent communication, relationship building, presentation, project management, and strategy execution skills.

1. Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment and Retention to execute an integrated talent attraction and acquisition strategy .

2. Consult with recruitment team to identify opportunities for improvement, identify and strengthen relationships with college campus stakeholders and other organizations, and implement recruitment best practices.

3. Consult with recruitment team to deploy digital recruiting tools in order to strengthen pipeline of diverse candidates.

4. Collaborate with the staff development, schools, and support divisions to integrate the talent engagement and development strategy in order to enhance and influence experience and retention of under represented talent.

5. Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with current and new strategic partners who will contribute to increasing a diverse workforce throughout the district.

6. Manage and attend local and national diversity recruiting and outreach events.

7. Create a new early talent program that will help increase representation at GCPS.
a. Meet and educate freshman and sophomore students from their initial interaction with the district's recruiting process.
b. Create a strong pipeline of diverse talent into teaching and learning and business functions across the organization.
c. Bridge the knowledge gap for freshman and sophomore students between the professional world and their academic studies, addressing the challenge of workplace readiness.
d. Create, in the long-term, successful employees by inspiring confident full-time hires who are sponsored and supported from the outset of their careers, and who have loyalty to the organization through their connections.

8. Manage processes to enhance candidate and interviewer experience to position GCPS as an "Employer of Choice."

9. Identify and seek opportunities for ongoing continuous quality process improvement.

10. Identify, evaluate, and present new recruitment sources that will generate quality and diverse applicants.

11. Research and share analytics to inform recruitment and marketing initiatives.

12. Conduct analysis, assess results and identify areas of opportunity and change. Use this data to evaluate source effectiveness, progress, and process improvements. Track results and report out on progress .

13. Perform other related duties as required.
