Description
Seeking innovative, collaborative Family/Consumer Science teacher to join a trend-setting district, sharing time teaching 6th-8th grade classes in two of our middle schools. The qualifications for this position include the ability to design and implement high quality lessons that engage all learners. The candidates must be able to work collaboratively within a group and utilize cutting edge instructional strategies. The candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication. It is preferred that the candidates possess knowledge of standards-based grading, project-based learning, and the use of technology (1:1 iPads) to enhance learning in the classroom.
