Reports To: Admission Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

PURPOSE OF JOB: To supports the Admissions and Records area in a variety of duties including data entry, customer service, and telephone support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with enrollment procedures and maintenance of student information for the purpose of ensuring accurate data is maintained. Maintains a variety of student records for district (e.g. cumulative registration information, Infinite Campus) for the purpose of documenting and/or providing reliable information. Processes requests from Parents, Schools and District department for the purpose of providing required information. Assist with processing walkin records request for student records. Assist with updating correct information received by the District Registrar Records Lead from Residential investigations and Annual Re-Registrations" Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GED/High School
3-5 years administrative office experience
Effective skills and abilities in interpersonal relations and communications.
Knowledge and proficiency in the operation and use of personal computers utilizing word processing, spreadsheet and database management software programs (e.g., MS Office Suite, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, etc.) and the Internet browser, web sites and e-mail.
Understanding of, sensitivity to and respect for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of KCPS students, faculty, staff and community
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Tyler SIS experience
Spanish Fluency/Bilingual
