JOB DESCRIPTION
Faith Formation Coordinator

  1. Supports Faith Formation Director
  2. Responsible for Faith Formation yearly calendar planning and monthly calendar upkeep of all departmental classes and groups
  3. Submits all room reservations and maintenance work orders for department classes, meetings, events and groups
  4. Creates & maintains yearly Faith Formation budget, handles all departmental ordering & invoices
  5. Tracks material/instructional fees for student events, adult scripture studies, etc
  6. Coordinates approximately two Faith Formation departmental events per month; responsible for publicity, set up, clean up, coordinating needs between different departments
  7. Participates in departmental activities and events during non-core hours
  8. Creates and maintains yearly Faith Formation class schedule in ParishSoft
  9. Creates and distributes yearly Faith Formation print and online class registration packet
  10. Processes all class registrations, tracks tuition and other payments
  11. Communicates activities & class schedules to parents and parish throughout the year
  12. Maintains all Faith Formation and Confirmation attendance
  13. Supports catechists with all classroom needs
  14. Assists with tracking online student homework in E Catholic
  15. Responsible for yearly class setup
  16. Maintains Faith Formation website page
  17. Maintains weekly Faith Formation bulletin page and Mass announcements
  18. Sends sacrament record notification to church of baptism for First Communicants and Confirmandi
  19. Tracks Sacramental preparation student requirements
  20. Maintains sacramental records in ParishSoft
  21. Supports Youth Group coordinator
  22. Tracks catechist and volunteer PGC & CBC status to be in compliance with AoD regulations
  23. Completes reports when requested for Archdiocese
  24. General office duties


Qualifications

Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, working well independently or as part of a team
Excellent organizational, oral, and written skills. Strong relational skills.
Flexibility of schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events, sometimes at different sites
Willing to collaborate with and support other department's events
Working knowledge of ParishSoft, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, E Catholic online platform
