The Holy Spirit is alive at St. John Neumann! A lot of great things are happening! We are expanding the Family Ministry area of Faith Formation. In the past two years, Family Ministry has consisted of Pray 'n Play Thursdays and a FM Monthly Event where families come together for a meal, a small faith lesson, service project, craft, and fellowship. Our numbers and interests have consistently grown in both areas allowing us to hire a Part-Time Family Ministry Coordinator who can take a greater focus on adding ways that we can better support our families. The first item on our agenda is to add to the Sunday experience for parents of toddlers. During the 10:30 AM Mass, we plan to offer childcare for children ages 1-4 so the parents and older children can focus more on the Mass.

Our Part-Time FM Coordinator will require a friendly, outgoing personality, knowledge of the Catholic Faith, the dedication to recruit and lead volunteers in activities that will foster a pro-life environment here at St. John Neumann, help families develop a greater relationship with Christ, encourage fellowship for living authentic Catholic lives, and equip families with the tools to live the Gospel. If you feel that you fit this description, please contact Mary Alice Hurst at mhurst@sjncanton.org.
