Temporary Part-Time Music Minister
Music Minister for St. Clare of Montefalco Parish, Grosse Pointe Park, MI.
Seeking candidates for temporary, part-time assignment within our music ministry who are familiar with Roman Catholic liturgy, traditional and contemporary liturgical music, and have a zeal and passion for music in worship. The successful candidate will be equally proficient as a keyboardist and educator in the choral and vocal arts. The music minister will be available through the Christmas season to complement our existing ensembles within the parish. The music ministry currently employs all genres of liturgical music as appropriate to the Mass, season, and ensemble. The music minister will also be in a collaborative relationship with the school music teacher, music program, and school liturgies. Please note that St. Clare will be undertaking a comprehensive search for a new, full-time Music Minister during this temporary transition.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute music for a combination of weekend liturgies: Saturday 4pm and/or Sunday 11:00am. This may be as a solo keyboardist and vocalists as well as with a cantor.
- Rehearse and prepare with cantors for weekend liturgies, when applicable.
- Plan and execute music for weekday Mass, Holy Days, weddings, and funerals, and periodic Holy Hours or seasonal liturgies.
- Collaborate with school music teacher and program
