Job Description:

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is seeking a full-time highly qualified MS Science teacher for the 2023/2024 school year. The ideal candidate holds a State of Michigan Certification in secondary Science instruction.

OLL is a 1:1 technology school and candidate must be comfortable integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • All teachers in the Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit shall be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan.
  • All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach. (DI, DA, DC, DE or DP)
  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) including all courses and state tests needed to meet credential requirements.
  • Attend a Protecting God's Children workshop, and complete a background check with fingerprints.
