Holy Name Catholic is seeking qualified candidates for substitute teaching positions.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing coverage for absent teachers
- Working to ensure that students are able to meet learning goals while staff members are absent due to illness or an extended leave
- Delivering lesson plans as appropriate
- Developing lesson plans as directed
- Monitoring and maintaining regular class attendance
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the school principal
- Minimum of 90 college credits, required
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate, preferred
- Experience working with children in a school setting, preferred
- Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
