Math Teacher-Middle School

Global Concepts Charter School is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment
• Develop lesson plans and supplemental materials compatible to the designated curriculum; establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to students
• Prepares, administers and grades tests and assignments that are a reflection of what students will be evaluated on during NYS Regents, Advanced Regents and Advanced Placements testing.
• Develop and maintain positive, strong classroom culture
• Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students in the classroom
• Maintains a safe and orderly environment
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Perform related work as required

Candidates must possess:

• NYS Certification in Mathematics Grades 7-12
