We are currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Communications and Community Engagement. If interested please complete and submit and application.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or journalism, minimum 5 years experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of district policies and procedures. Public school experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; photo and video editing skills preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience updating and creating content for websites.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Able to coordinate and gather relevant district information timely.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with administrators, district staff, students, teachers and the general public.
  • Ability to keep accurate records, files and reports.
  • Ability to work independently, performing individual projects and routine matters with minimal direction from the supervisor.
  • Ability to work within the department's budget and create purchase orders.
  • Must work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to multitask.

Annual Salary Range for the 2022-2023 School Year: $68,033 - $96,638
(dependent upon experience and qualifications)
