The State College Area School District's Department of Federal Programs is currently accepting applications for Grade K-8 Tutors to work before, during, and after the school day.

The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of K-8 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and also possess a variety of professional experiences.

K-8 Tutors may be assigned to any of our K-8 schools depending on student needs and availability.

Availability: Flexible, as needed through the end of the 2022/2023 school year with possible use and need in summer 2023.

Job duties: Support small group and individualized tutoring needs for students in multiple subject areas including English Language Arts and Math.

Possession of, or ability to obtain, PDE certification is preferred. We will assist current Education students in obtaining emergency certification via Act 91.

Compensation - $22.00/hour
