Deputy Director

Job Purpose:

The Deputy Director will fully embrace and implement the SABIS^® philosophy, core values, and the SABIS^® Educational System™ at the school. They will create the right spirit among students and staff, increase student enrollment, be present and visible on campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating the right spirit among students and staff by being fair and consistently applying the rules, listening objectively to complaints, and being available to staff members, parents, and students
• Increasing student enrollment by promoting the SABIS^® Educational System™ in all possible ways
• Ensuring and supervising all safety, security, cleanliness and maintenance issues
• Monitoring the performance and efficiency of all pillars at the school: Academic Quality Controllers, Heads of Department, Office Manager, and Student Life Coordinator
• Optimizing the use of resources e.g. facilities, labs, library, gym, rooms, and equipment
• Controlling expenditures and complying to the budget
• Guaranteeing that the school is abiding by the country’s labor, ministry of education laws and other pertaining regulations
• Visiting classes and following up on teacher’s classroom management, implementation of SABIS^® Teaching techniques and methods, implementation of the SABIS Point System^®
• Monitoring internal and external exams

Ideal Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in education and/or equivalent
• English proficient
