REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have NYS Certification in TESOL

- Bilingual preferred

- Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
    Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization

    Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process

    Ability to infuse technology into curriculum

    Devotion to students' feeling of connection, Social-Emotional learning and development, and sense of belonging in a hybrid or fully remote learning environment

    Skilled in tracking student progress toward achieving goals and communicating progress to parents regularly

    Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc.) through virtual means (GoogleMeet preferred)

    Experience in differentiating instruction to meet students' needs and encouraging student growth and progress across content areas through the use of small group instruction, breakout rooms, and targeted individual support

    Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse skills and needs

    Desire to grow as a part of a professional community by utilizing research-based tools, practices, and approaches to support varied means of instructional practice and delivery, student learning, and students' overall growth and achievement

    Possesses exemplary interpersonal skills and tools for collaboration with all school faculty, staff, administrators, and families in service to students

    Other responsibilities, as assigned, based on the needs of the school and its scholars
