Provide direct education services in Reading, Math and/or Language Arts to students based upon individualized learning plans, supplemental to instruction at the school and in line with Title 1 guidelines as prescribed by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
Communicate Title 1 goals, expectations, and evidence of student growth with parents of Title 1 students. Suggest activities and methods to support and reinforce goals at home.
Administer developmental testing programs, subject-specific assessments in Reading, Math and/or Language Arts to assess student competency levels and inform lesson plans.
Collaborate with instructional staff and other school leaders to develop individualized educations plans for students to enhance academic success in the regular classroom and support the school improvement plan.
Assess Title 1 student progress towards individual plan objectives and goals to be able to provide feedback to the students, the student's parents, the teacher and administration.
Maintain records and prepare reports including attendance, grades, anecdotal records and etc. as required by the school, and Title 1.
Participate in staff meetings as required to ensure smooth integration of Title 1 services.
Maintain accurate and complete inventories of all Title 1 educational materials.
