SUMMARY:

The Change Management Specialist at National Heritage Academies (NHA) will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. You will work on projects that will span from company-wide software and system changes to new operating processes and principles. You will work cross-functionally on a day-to-day basis to ensure that multiple organizations, teams, systems, and stakeholders work in a collaborative manner to ensure the alignment of our core strategies as a company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Change Management:
  • Support business owners to create appropriate types of learning needed (eLearning, instructor-led, job aid, webinar, etc.) and needs driven solutions. This could include job aids, demos, simulations, videos, etc.
  • Create and execute strategic communication efforts in the organization.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness to change efforts in the organization.
  • Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance to change.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user feedback and change capability/readiness via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Collaborate with internal business owners to improve effectiveness of existing communication and training across the organization.
  • Responsible for change management execution which includes communication about needs, change impact, resources, and project issues to ensure optimal results.
  • Ability to remain detail oriented to ensure top quality of delivery.

System Administration:
  • Ensure that the software meets business requirements and goals, fulfills user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Establishes system specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access information and security requirements and designing system infrastructure.
  • Participate in the quality assurance process of purchased and developed solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Maintains system performance by executing system monitoring and analysis and ensuring performance tuning is executed. Also troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating system management systems; designing and running system testing and maintaining documentation.
  • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the assigned system; partner with software companies to address issues within their systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution OR experience in lieu of degree
  • A solid understanding of how people go through change.
  • Prefer experience in adult learning and all aspects of instructional design for various formats, including instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and various types of performance support.
  • Experience with staying abreast of industry trends, modern learning practices, change practices and technologies.
  • Self-driven, high work ethic, efficient, and ability to think critically about user experience.
  • Excellent organizational, communications, relationship, and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads and prioritize tasks.
  • Comfortable working with a range of employees from entry to executive level.
