Staff Needed: One (1) Teacher Grade 6-8 Social Studies

Qualifications:

• Hold a New Jersesy instructional certficiate in accordancewith the requirements of N.J.S.A.18A:27.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 wsith appropriate subject area endorsement(s) for the position held (N.J.A.C. 6:11-6.1, 6.2, or 8.1 et seq.)
• Have exellent experience in teaching and working with adolescents
• Hold a valid driver's licesne with no serious violations
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the content field and describe ways in which the content can be organized into lessons for secondary students
• Have excellent integrity and dmonstrate good moral character and initiative
• Demonstrate knowledge and inderstanding of child growth and developement, effective instructional strategies, classroom management. ;earning assessment. and diagnosis, and reserach related to learning
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammmer and vocabulary
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in wsriting, with staff, students, parents, and adminitrators and the community
