Job Description
Construction & Natural Resources Forestry Para-Educator
Stafford Technical Center offers fourteen full-day technical education programs, each of which offers college credits or industry certifications to students as part of their high school education. Students are prepared for higher education and/or entry into business and industry. Stafford Technical Center has a Construction & Natural Resources Forestry Para-Educator opening beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.
Construction & Natural Resources Forestry Para-Educator: This is a full-time position assisting both of our Construction & Natural Resources Forestry instructors and students in the day-to-day operation of their programs. Prior experience in either the construction and/or natural resources forestry fields is highly desirable. Applicants should be a team player, have the ability to mentor and supervise students on an active home construction site, in the woods, and in the school labs. Ideal candidates will have a willingness to work outside in all weather conditions in a physical capacity (ie: climbing ladders, working in rough terrain, loud and potentially hazardous settings, standing for long periods of time), familiarity with driving a trailer, and possession or willingness to obtain Type 2 School Bus Endorsement or Class B CDL with School Bus Endorsement.
