POSITION TITLE: Homebound Tutors
REPORTS TO: Coordinator - Special Education

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience or Training
Valid Professional Educators Teaching License with endorsements in: English, Mathematics, LBSI, Science and/or Social Studies
Desired Experience or Training
Previous Homebound Tutoring experience POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Teach prescribed academic coursework.Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments.Travel to students' homes.Coordinate and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessionsMaintain accurate recordsWork 2-3 nights after school, approximately 2-3 hours per nightOther duties as assigned.Ability to coordinate student assignments during time of absence.Ability to communicate with student's teachers about progress and/or assignment completion.Ability to communicate with home to schedule hours of tutoring.Progress monitor students work.
