The Registrar is a dynamic individual who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data recorded into internal systems and may include management of specific state or district systems. The Registrar is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of the data inputted through regular monitoring and reconciliation processes. The Registrar will be responsible for providing training and support of the student information system to new and existing employees. The Registrar maintains and monitors health/immunization records and prepares data for state reporting

Position details:
  • Reviews student information data for accuracy and resolves data conflicts (e.g., student demographics, enrollment/withdrawal information, attendance, etc.).
  • Generates custom reports within the required time frame.
  • Operates according to Ombudsman's data techniques, privacy laws, procedures and upholds definitions of Ombudsman's goals and outcomes.
  • Maintains individual immunization and health records and prepares data for state reporting deadlines.
  • Responsible for escalating areas of concern to the assigned administrator or immediate supervisor.
  • Verifies authenticity of record requests/enrollment verifications and responds to inquiries from other schools, colleges, employers or authorized agencies regarding student grades, attendance and other information contained in student files according to established Record Release Procedures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify data entry and filing challenges, identify end user re-training needs and other practical solutions related to the fidelity of maintaining student information.
